Wireless Communities
The 21st century is the age of the information highway. People, businesses, cell phones, governments, public service sectors, and computers all rely on being connected to the internet. Today, the internet is wireless and it is everywhere. Entire communities have the internet so people, businesses, and organizations can stay connected.
But wireless does not mean the coffee shop hotspot. It means that the internet is being provided by a system that ensures the internet is always on, always there, and always available; in other words it is ubiquitous.
Community Wireless

DtS has direct experience providing design, project/program management and implementation for countywide wireless/fiber networks.

The 911/Cambria Connected Network is a countywide rural broadband wireless system.  Initiated by the Cambria County Commissioners in Pennsylvania in response to a Federal mandate that required upgrades to all 911 Emergency Services Systems. This $10M program addresses the Federal mandate and provides High Speed Internet to rural and underserved communities. The entire area of the downtown business district of Johnstown Pennsylvania is now has WiFi coverage providing businesses, visitors, and residents, access to the internet anywhere in the business district.

MineralVision of Mineral County, WV was designed by DtS. Once funding has been secured this network will be implemented to provide rural broadband services to the county.
